City Church is a non-denominational Church. Although City Church is lead locally by a senior pastor and a body of elders, we maintain relationship and accountability with close and extended

ministry networks:

1) We are an Outreach Church of New City Church, Great Falls, Montana.

2) Advance Conference - a relational network of churches intent on strengthening local churches in the Montana region. Our pastor serves on the executive board for Advance.

3) MFI  (Ministers Fellowship International) - a relational organization with an international influence. MFI is a great resource for leadership tools, church health, encouragement and friendships!

4) Our very own church plant, RedDoor Church in Sioux Falls, South Dakota.

5) Friendships with other local churches continue to have a positive impact on City Church. Mentoring, support, prayer and kingdom like mindedness are all byproducts of our relationships.

Our Pastor

Kalen and Berni Brown

In 1997, after years of training and faithful service, Kalen and Berni were sent from New City Church to assist a small church in the Heights of Billings. City Church, has enjoyed steady growth ever since 1999, when it came under Kalen’s leadership.

Berni is a Registered Nurse and currently is part owner and manager of an assisted living home called Lasting Legacy. Kalen graduated in June, 2003 from Yellowstone Valley Bible Institute with a Certificate of Ministry. Kalen and Berni have three grown children; Aaron (Jenn), Kyle (Genesis) and Hannah (Josh), who

faithfully serve in the church alongside their parents. The Browns enjoy their three grandkids; Sophia, Hayden and Judah and one on the way. In addition to his pastoral role in Billings, Kalen is on the leadership team of the Advance Network of Churches.
